ANiMPACT: make your voice heard for a sustainable animation sector

The ANiMPACT International Standards for Sustainable Animation were officially presented at Cartoon Movie on March 3rd.

Developed by CineRegio, Ecoprod and Green Film, through a two-year collaborative process involving studios, producers, institutions and sustainability experts, the standards aim to provide a clear and internationally aligned framework supporting the environmental transition of the animation industry. 

A public consultation is now open until May 3rd 2026.  

We invite all animation professionals, studios, producers, film institutions, funders, broadcasters, sustainability and certification experts to review the criteria and share feedback to help refine the clarity, applicability and relevance of the standards across different production contexts.
