Film Partnership Forum 2026
Events 08.10.2026 | AfternoonEvery year, Belgium welcomes numerous film and TV series productions to heritage sites, public institutions and locations that are not usually open to the public. Such collaborations can showcase a location in a unique way, raise its profile and contribute to economic and tourism-related benefits.
But how do you host a film crew smoothly at a location with specific restrictions, whilst ensuring safety, heritage preservation and day-to-day operations remain unaffected? And how do you turn such a collaboration into a genuine opportunity for your organisation or location?
To discuss these very practical questions, Wallimage Tournages, Screen Flanders and Visit Brussels Film Commission are pleased to invite you to the third edition of the Film Partnership Forum, taking place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in the afternoon, in Waterloo.
During the Film Partnership Forum, representatives from public bodies, location managers, audiovisual professionals and experts will share their experiences based on specific case studies. They will discuss the challenges, opportunities and best practices surrounding the hosting of audiovisual productions at heritage sites, institutional sites and other sensitive locations.
This edition forms part of the 14th Waterloo Historical Film Festival, which we are delighted to invite you to attend for a special film screening afterwards.
The detailed programme and exact venue will be announced soon. You can already confirm your interest or attendance via the registration form:
