Animation
The Flanders Region is home to many experienced animation studios. All of them also offer production services, some through a separate company entity (listed first). Between them they cover the whole range of animation techniques, from 2D hand-drawn and computer animation, to 3D and stop-motion. Already dependable partners in international co-productions, they are increasingly taking the lead, creating compelling characters and stories, and delivering innovative animated content.
The list below is not exhaustive and was compiled based on recent Screen Flanders applications. It includes animation studios and producers who are based in the Flanders Region and active in feature films and series. To be eligible for Screen Flanders support, both the supplier, the services and the invoicing must meet a number of conditions. These can be consulted in the Screen Flanders Manual.
